Life’s not fair
Things are not,
going your way,
That is why,
You’re not willing to stay
There are things,
you can not bare,
But let me tell you,
Life’s not fair
The little slips,
Like a sailing ship,
They are there one day,
Then they’ve gone away
There are things,
you can not bare,
But let me tell you,
Life’s not fair
Hope and enjoyment,
Fill the air,
You get things right,
But there’s no-one,
To care
There are things,
you can not bare,
But let me tell you,
Life’s not fair
The lust in your eyes
Is as clear as blue skies
And I'm not one who lies
Life is full of twists and turns
No medicine can fix a broken hart
You see love is what you need
Child play
You wake from your fantasy
Its sad you think,
of people you could never be
I may be lying,
but we will see
It’s child play
Believing things,
realists will never say
So put your mind at bay
Hay
You see people succeeding
Hoping that’s the life,
you are leading
If it is you should stop,
bottle feeding
It’s child play
Believing things,
realists will never say
So put your mind at bay
Hay
Child play
You wake from your fantasy
Its sad you think,
of people you could never be
I may be lying,

It’s child play

Song
You just cried
As death looked you in the eye
You created a life that is a lie
You never reached your high
Running from your problems did nothing
You just keep suffering
Sss-uferinggg x 4
You tried
But inside you died
All you do is hide
Everyone lied
Running from your problems did nothing
You just keep suffering
Sss-uferinggg x 4.
The dim light in the corner of you eye
That flickers in the night
It creeps into your mind
Seeing things people will never find
I hope the dim light of depression fades away
For with it on this world you will not stay
The world is dark so that light gets brighter
It will haunt you for the rest of your life
The people you love go away
So you respite to the light
Thinking it will help
But it will end you so you leve this world alone
Life’s not fair

My parents think that I'm a happy girl
Quite smart, works hard,
Satisfied with what she's got
My teachers think that I'm intelligent
That I try really hard
And have no troubles
My classmates think I'm a goody-goody
Or a tough Judo fighter
Someone who will never
Have that much pain
Some people know
Because they read mt poems
That I am not okay
In the slightest
I know
That I am good at acting
At putting on a smile
At pretending I'm alright
At letting my emotions hide
For weeks at a time
I'm almost too good;
Sometimes I almost trick myself
What most people think the know
Is lies
What most people assume is wrong
Don't judge a girl like me
You can call it broken
I call it strong
You can believe
All of the lies in the world
That every person
Gets their happy ending
But there's no need to label me
Worse than you
Just because
I can see the truth
Everyone see's the world differently
Groups of people
Who see close to the same
Can seek each other
But do not ever think
That just because there are a lot of you
We are the ones making the mistake
I see the world as a metaphor
Because every single problem
Has happened before
If we just learnt
That we were all equal
There would be no more war
And you can call my rage unnecessary
You can call my thoughts insane
You can call me a problem
Sometimes I wonder,
Why I am still here.
It’s been a year and
I thought I had been saved but
That was a fortunate series of events.
I guess I could never leave it behind.
In fact,
I tried, but demons filled the emptiness.
And they took away not only her but;
Everything else that keeps me sane.
And I guess,
I’ll be here,
Letting life pass me until
I find the courage to trust myself.
Maybe that day will never come but
I suppose it is like sleep –
The less you think about it,
The easier it comes.
I suppose,
It is tragic to be living like this.
But I suppose
I could never go and live like a mortal.
Where they see white,
I see streaks of blue and yellow and hot pink.
And I suppose
That I never truly believed
I was one of them.
Their lives are so pretty and
Their pencils are always sharp.
Their erasers are a perfect white and
They draw a perfect life for them.
I draw phoenixes,
And leave smudges everywhere.
But I suppose
I never liked drawing perfect lives.
If it were just me
I wouldn't hesitate
If it were just me
I wouldn't care at all
If it were just me
It would be amazing
I wouldn't worry
About anything
But there's family
And friends
That boy who's been crushing on you
Since year 2
All those lives you've touched
All those promises
Yet to be fulfilled
All those people relying on you
But if it were just me
I would be free
I would pack a hundred bags
And explore what I could be
It would be amazing and carefree
If it were just me.
There's no point in hoping
For something that will never happen
But. . .
If it were just me.
